Well it’s been a busy baking of baking. Made some Peanut Blossoms, Gingerdoodles, M&M Sugar Cookies, and Chocolate Dipped Butter Cookies, and of course an Old-Fashioned Chocolate Meringue Pie for our Linscomb Christmas tomorrow.

Tonight was my first time making a pie crust, a pie from scratch and a meringue and based on the look I think I did a great job for my first time.

So as a kid I always remember eating Chocolate pie with my grandpa. It was one of our favorites to share together. Now most people call that meringue on top but my pawpaw always called it calf slobber(😂😂) and I never questioned it. I few months ago I received some pie baking items and this was the first pie I thought of. I finally took some time and baked something for me and I can’t wait for it to cool so I can taste it!
