My oh my, there have been quite a few “Flavor of the Months” over all this time 😊 it has been so fun to be able to experiment and see what you all like! Speaking of what you like… I want to shake things up a bit and I’m wondering what you think May’s FOM should be?! We are finally 🤞🏻going to warm up and officially kick winter outta here, Mother’s Day is coming up — anyone have any ideas on a flavor I should experiment with this weekend? I’ll give out samples for people that order for this Saturday 4/28 😁
This is the last weekend for the Carrot Cake sourdough, and also your last chance to order Apple Cider & Pecan until it comes back next year 🍎 Pickup is this Saturday 11-3 in WBL.

Minnesota doesn’t really know what it’s doing this weekend… but I know what I’ll be doing… ✨BAKING✨😁

The FOM is Carrot Cake - a slightly sweetened sourdough with grated carrots, raisins and a carrot cake flavored swirl (confirmed to be delicious as French toast 😉). Please also note that this is the LAST MONTH for Apple Cider & Pecan ‼️

We had a great long weekend filled with lots of family time 🐣🤍 I made lots of bread and goodies throughout the week, and even made an awesome breakfast focaccia for our Easter with Derek’s family… but forgot to take a picture ☹️ boo.
Anyways, with Easter being so close to the beginning of the month, I hardly had time to put away the Pretzel loaf (for now?) and make room for April’s FOM: Carrot Cake. A maple syrup (slightly) sweetened loaf with grated carrots, raisins and a carrot cake spiced swirl, throughout. 🥕 I am baking again this Saturday 4/11 for pickup between 11-3 in WBL. Our new chickies got to experience the outside for the first time, this past gorgeous Saturday! We can’t wait for nicer weather. What did everyone else do on their fake spring #4?! 🙃
🥨 I will be baking for the last time in March this Saturday 3/28 for pickup between 11-4 in WBL. Also for the last time, the FOM is the Pretzel… or is it the last time 🤷🏻‍♀️

White Bear is on spring break this week!! We will be sticking around home and I’ll be baking up a bunch of sourdough discard recipes again like I did last year. It’s day #2 and I’ve already made Garlic Pull Apart bread (Otto’s fave), pancakes, and tonight’s dinner is sourdough pizza 😊
I will be baking again this WEDNESDAY 3/11 for pickup in WBL between 11-4 (please let me know if you’re working that day and need a later pickup). FOM is the Pretzel.

I am thrilled with the experimental sourdough I baked yesterday 🤩 Not only because it’s delicious, but because I thought boiling a whole sourdough before baking was going to be a total mess… Well folks, it wasn’t a mess at all. I introduce to you March’s Flavor of the Month- the Pretzel loaf! A plain sourdough, prepared just like a pretzel and finished with melted butter and coarse salt. This would be awesome with an Irish (or German) dish ☘️

We got some new chickies at the end of January! They’re already getting so big- we can’t wait for the weather to start getting nice soon so they can start exploring outside (amongst many other reasons I would like the weather to get nice…) Did anyone else get some spring chickies?? 🥰

Good morning and happy February! I always get excited for this months sourdough - it is really something that I think you’ll love 💕 This months FOM is Strawberry White Chocolate- a plain sourdough with freeze-dried strawberries and white chocolate chips folded throughout ($12). If you remeber from last year, this loaf almost gets candied on the outside from the white chocolate chips and is just so so good!
