Starting in September, all Gracefully Baked loaves will automatically come SLICED! 🙌🏼

Y’all have asked me about sliced bread over and over, and I’m so excited to finally be able to offer it efficiently, consistently, and in beautiful uniform slices. No more fighting with that crusty sourdough at home. 😂

Because let’s be real… when you’re paying for a beautiful loaf of fresh, homemade bread, the last thing you want to do is butcher it with a bread knife trying to get even slices. 🤣

So from here on out, I’ll take care of that part for you! Your loaf will come ready to grab a slice for toast, sandwiches, freezing, or whatever you’re using it for. 🍞✨

Prefer your loaf whole? Absolutely no problem! Just leave me a note with your preorder and I’ll leave it unsliced.

I like to think about my business through my customers’ eyes. 🤎

If I’m spending my money on something, I want to see what I’m actually getting.

AI is an amazing tool, but when it comes to advertising a product, I personally don’t want to see a perfectly generated image of what something could look like. I want to see YOUR product. The loaf you actually baked. The cookie you actually made. The item that’s actually going to be in my bag when I pick up my order.

That’s how I try to look at Gracefully Baked. If I were the customer, what would make me trust this business? What would make me excited to order? What would make me come back?

The real thing might not always be perfectly staged or picture-perfect — but it’s real. And I think there’s a lot of value in that.

AI can help with ideas, wording, planning and all kinds of behind-the-scenes things… but when I’m showing you what you’re buying, I want to show you what I actually made. 🤎

Sooo… just because I didn’t bake for y’all this weekend doesn’t mean there aren’t things coming out of my oven. 😂🙃

Fun fact: I’ve actually NEVER even eaten a sourdough chocolate chip cookie. So naturally, I decided today was the day to recipe test some… purely because I wanted cookies. 😂🍪 And ummm… I get the hype now. 😋

Also currently recipe testing a new fall-flavored sourdough breakfast loaf that I’m pretty excited about. 🍂🤎

Apparently a weekend “off” from Gracefully Baked just means I get to bake whatever I want. 😂

I’ve been thinking about this lately… local markets are FULL. And honestly? I don’t think that’s a bad thing. 🤍

Bakers. Cookie makers. Coffee trailers. Lemonade stands. Snow cones. Food trucks. Boutiques. You name it—there are probably several people around doing it.

There is room for all of us. But if you want to build something that lasts, you have to give people a reason to come back to you.

You don’t have to do ALL the things. In fact, I think sometimes trying to do everything is exactly what keeps us from being really, really good at something.

Find what you do well.
Make it excellent.
Be consistent.
Take care of your customers.
Create an experience they remember.
And then show up and do it again.

You don’t necessarily have to be the cheapest. You don’t have to have the biggest menu. You don’t have to offer every single thing someone else offers.

You just need to do YOUR thing exceptionally well.

An oversaturated market doesn’t mean there isn’t room for you. It just means “I sell cookies” or “I make coffee” probably isn’t enough by itself anymore.

Figure out what makes people say, “No, I want to get mine from HER.” ❤️

Don’t try to do all the things.

Do your thing—and be excellent at it.

ANDDDD… my creative brain is already in full-on FALL MODE. 🍂😂 I’ve got all kinds of flavor ideas floating around for scones, cinnamon rolls, muffins, sourdough breads and more. 😋

Basically… cooler weather needs to hurry up because my brain is already somewhere between maple, cinnamon, brown sugar, pumpkin and pecans. 😂🍁

One of my sweet, loyal customers surprised me with these and I am OBSESSED. 😂🥹🤍

I mean… “Crusty on the outside, soft on the inside, just like me”?! And “Feed me and tell me I’m bubbly”?! 😂🍞 She clearly knows me and Gracefully Baked way too well!

Seriously though, little things like this mean so much to me. I have some of the absolute BEST customers, and I’m so thankful for the people who continue to show up, support my little business, and even think of me when they see something like this. 🥹

Mine has to be the Classic Campfire Cookie. 🍪🔥 I snagged an ugly one that didn’t quite make the cut for packaging 😂 and MANNNN… they are sooo good!!!

One of the perks of being the baker — quality control requires sacrifices. 🤣
