🌈 Happy Sunday, my Loaves! 🍞
We have a busy and exciting week ahead at Betty's Breads! You'll find us at the Sykesville Pride Celebration on Saturday, June 6, and at the Downtown Sykesville Farmers Market on Sunday, June 7.
I planned to wait until tomorrow to post the menus, but then I realized order deadlines are quickly approaching!
For the month of June, Betty's Breads will be offering our special Betty's Pride Loaf. It's our classic sourdough recipe, baked with the same love and care as always, but with a colorful twist to celebrate the month. While we would have loved to use dye-free food coloring, sourdough's high baking temperatures cause those colors to fade, so we had to use traditional food coloring for this loaf.
We're also excited to share that 50% of all Pride Loaf sales throughout June will be donated to the Carroll County chapter of PFLAG Westminster. Their organization works to support, educate, and advocate for LGBTQIA+ individuals, their families, and their loved ones.
As always, Betty's Breads is committed to being a welcoming place for everyone. If the Pride Loaf isn't for you, that's completely okay! We'll continue to offer our regular Classic Sourdough Loaves alongside our specialty items. Our goal is simple: bake delicious bread, serve our community, and support causes that matter to us.
📅 Order Deadlines:
🌈 Pride orders close tonight at 11:58 PM
🥖 Market orders close tomorrow at 8:00 AM
Thank you for your patience as I work through menus week by week right now. That's why they've been coming out a little later than usual!
We'll also have a limited number of Pride and Autism shirts available, along with some fun stickers.
Last but certainly not least. We have sourdough basket raffle numbers still available! I will be posting a video of all the goodies in it later this week! You will also be able to see it in person this weekend at the tent!!
Thank you for supporting this little bakery and allowing us to keep doing what we love.
