Y’all have been amazing and supportive friends and customers! So we’re sad to say that this is our last week as Grain Bakery (however, it may not be the end of Grain Bakery….). I’m dropping fresh loaves off on Tuesday and Thursday at all of the regular spots and I’ll do my best to come to the market on Saturday with as much bread as I’ve ever baked! We love this community and we’re going to miss you all. ✌️❤️

This weeks heat and humidity finally got to us yesterday—forcing me to greatly reduce the amount of dough I could make without the risk of overproofing in the fridge. Even after reducing the levain and hydration of all of my dough, it still fermented way faster than I expected in my 85 degree kitchen. What I was able to make is coming out of the oven extra proofy and nice today!
That being said, I won’t be at the market today but I’ll have limited quantities of bread available at Buttercream Babe Bakery LLC and Timmerman's Farm And Market. Get there early if you want bread!

Blueberry season is upon us! The farm stands and farmers markets are now filled with the most delicious berries! Go support your local farmers and farm stands and get rich in antioxidants!

Here’s a flat of locally grown berries from Good Grass Farm, that we prepped for this week—our whole grain blueberry cornbread is headed out to our Tuesday farm stand drop off locations today!

New item! We’ll have this Whole Grain Blueberry Cornbread tomorrow at the Westfield Farmers Market! Made with whole cornmeal, whole wheat flours, sweetened with local maple syrup and is loaded with local organic blueberries from Abers Acres!

This is a great bread for breakfast or a healthy snack. Smother it in butter or honey and top it off with more fresh berries!

Also! Megan will be making a guest appearance at the market tomorrow! So come say hi! We’ll have a ton of bread and spelt pretzels with everything seasoning!
