In 2019 after searching many markets in the area for quality gluten free, dairy free and vegan baked goods and desserts, it was discovered through that search that, there weren't really a whole lot of baked good options available for consumers whose diets consisted of gluten free, dairy free and vegan foods. ions brought out that inner lifetime baker which ultimately led to the manifestation of what is now Ginger Roots Farm to Bakery Co. Launched in August of 2020... our story came to life through the purchase of a delicious loaf of zucchini bread.. and the rest is history as they say.. What makes us distinctive and sets us apart from our competitors is the quality of our ingredients that we handpick ensuring it meets the highest of standards...the skill knowledge and expertise of ourselves as bakers and our solid, transparent commitment to provide a wide variety of delicious, healthy, organic baked goods and desserts to the consumers living a gluten free dairy free, vegan & sugar free lifestyle, or for anyone who just simply loves desserts.. and honestly who doesn't like desserts.....
The Ginger Roots brand brings baked goods and desserts back to the table for all to enjoy - without the hidden toxins, artificial dyes, flammable extracts, heavy oils, addictive sugars, shelf life stabilizers, unnecessary preservatives and bio engineered ingredients... just to name a few
Our brand focuses on incorporating as many different fruits, vegetables, herbs and spices as we can. Our baked goods are comprised of quality ingredients many of which carry great nutritional and medicinal value. All ingredients in our pantry are USDA Certified Organic and Non-GMO. The majority of the produce used in our baking processes is grown right here on site on our organic urban farm. No pesticides or herbicides are ever used. Instead we use only organic sprays made from pepper oils and essential oils such as spearmint, peppermint and tea tree.. these products are people, pet and plant safe. We grow our own strawberries, pears, peaches, blueberries and even honeyberries. During growing season we offer a wide variety of produce such as peas, beans, zucchini, cucumbers, peppers, rhubarb, onions and a butternut squash that has been a customer favorite for 2 years in a row. Produce not grown on site is purchased locally through other organic farmers, farmstands, and organic markets. We are proud to be a dedicated gluten free and dairy free bakery and we are just as proud to bake and serve our vegan & sugar free crowd as well. August of 2023 was the beginning of our 3rd year in operation. The Ginger Roots brand has consistently grown and continues to grow today. The future does indeed look bright ..
