Jean Marie Cake Design is back in operation in a slightly different way. I have taken advantage of the California Cottage Food Law enabled last year. It allows food preparers to work out of their approved home kitchens. There is a list of approved ingredients and cake, filling, and frosting ingredients still have a long way to go (no cream cheese, fresh fruit custards, etc) so because of this and the fact that I LOVE to create sugar art for others to place on their own baked goods, I have re-opened selling my Gum Paste cake and cupcake toppers only. Cakes and Cupcakes will come again in the future once the approved ingredients list is expanded or once I develop tasty recipes using limited ingredients. The bright colors of the sugar flowers and the yellow wedding cake brought in some sunshine on the rainiest of wedding days. Tim and Kareen held their beautiful wedding indoors (thank goodness) at the Blue Goose in old Loomis. It was the perfect venue for this rustic style wedding.

How fun are these?? Custom order from Etsy for 12 cupcake toppers to celebrate three birthdays. Tash loves all things Juicy and is addicted to tanning so she has a shopping bag, tanning lotion, and a Juicy charm bracelet. Ryan love Patron tequila so he has a bottle of Patron, a shot glass, and lime and salt. Johnny loves Peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, The SF Giants and has a favorite chef that has a Got Pork Tattoo. All three also have edible baby pictures. So much fun to make!
