We have succumb to the American store bought standard of bleach dipped old sad cage condo livin “organic” eggs.. totally destroying the gut..not to mention, fed soy and seed oils that we then consume and our bodies refuse to efficiently digest annnnnd unfortunately causing inflammation and stirring up disease… phew! that was a longggg one 🫠 ..and yall know I could go on n on 😇. Fake labels, fake food. bleh.

Well then now what?! Regenerative agriculture most closely resembles God’s design for happy and free animals accessing new grasses and critters for a naturally diverse diet which produces the most nutrient dense vitamin bombs. 🥚 This means a happy energetic feelin good yOu! Woo hOo! Amazing, right?! Don’t settle. Choose real. YOU ARE WHAT YOU EAT. Ya man… You were built to thrive from the real stuff! 🤘🏽

🎄Oh Dearest December.. so much anticipated excitement along with the wonderfuL lists of to dos! 😝 Well, Christmas is literally right around the corner.. like seriously in a day or so 👀 .. how’d that happen?! SooOo I figure I should throw up a little posty of late before New Year’s blows by 🙃.

It’s been a bizzzzy holiday season of sourdough, eggs, all the daily things, and most importantly fam. Chicky ladies are layin like crazy 🥚🥚🥚 yee hA!.. and the dough has kept me in constant motion. THANK yOUuuu, bread fAm! 🤗

Through all the blessings the busy brings it’s easy to forget the slow our bodies need and crave. Since living in a saturated world of overstimulation every where ya turn (oh 1980’s how I miss thee 🫠) just remem it’s ok to say the dreaded “no” or make time for yourself however that may look. Forget the pressures … whatever is meant to be will work out. And be:). I say this as this is clearly a lesson this go gO gal has been attempting to conquer... truth be told, it’s hard!😬😋 (.. wait go go gal? 🤭🥴)

AnywhO what’s homegirl gettin at?! So, if ya haven’t caught on I have throttled back baking to twice a month for now.. more time for my babes and maybe a little sanity? 🤷🏽‍♀️ Hoping adjusting a few things will work out well in this current season of life.

🎄It’s the holiday season! 🎶.. so whoop-de- doo and dickOry dock..🎵

Christmas tunes cranked uP and extra cheerful kiddos at your place too?! Festive songs and lots o’ baking, right?! ☺️ Well, with all the dinner roll requests I finally stumbled upon these lil bad bOys! HOlidAy RoLLs! 🎉

These melt in your mouth, and oh sO soft n’ fluffy sourdough squares are the perfect little side for that special meal oR those savory celebratory sliders! Always simple clean ingredients and whole fam approved (including the picky eats ;). Woo- hoO 🙌🏽

❄️ Super convenient freeze for up to one month! Toss em on the counter to thaw before gO-time and bòn appetíte!

♨️ Oh, and for warm buns simply toss in the toaster oven oR spritz with water and bake 5 mins at 425°. That’s it!

A typical week night.. comfy mama swag 😋.. dinner full steam ahead.. and high on life energetic kiddos.. not to forget, the curious mini horse. “WHat?! Mom’s takin bread pics?! Time to crawl n dash on through!” I mean, why not? 😙😝.. warm bread and the whOle gang appears, right? lol .

🍂 SO ready for warm fuzzy fall cozy feels, right? No, not aLL the leaves are brown🎵… but some days the skies are gray 🫠☺️. Breezes have begun down here in the sunny south which means soon temps may drop to a cool 85° perhaps hehe.

Well whether bundled up chilly or shorts n flip-floppin ablazin’ the nostalgic aroma of sweet cinnamon and sugar with little pOps of raisins always seem to go perfect this time of year! Soft and fresh or toasted with melted butter .. and maybe just a teensy bit more cinn- suga dancin on top ;)…. Ooooooh maybe even a sticky sweet honey drizzle? ..yesssss!😋🧡

The Cinnamon Raisin is officially here and will be available on this week’s bread drop!

🎭 First a laugh.. then a good cry lol. Sometimes life has little itsy bitsy unexpected turns, right? This was one of those weeks for this gal.

It twas a market prep week which means dough makin starts Tues night with feeding Betty Lou… the heart and rise of this lil microbake (aka my starter) 🤓..

👉🏽400 cookie dough ball prep Weds
👉🏽mix and coil folds for 92 loaves all day Thurs
👉🏽and bakes finally begin early Friday and ends by nightfall with packaging goods and packing up all the things to haul to market.
.Well, God apparently had other plans. 😳

Literally as I just finished preshaping the last loaf I received the unfortunate news of the cancellation. End of the world? I guess not. Well, tbh in my crazy lil world and in that moment it was a feeling of utter defeat. Well, the hubby helped lift me back up.. count my blessings and get my head back in the game. Sooooo, decided not to throw in the “towel of defeat” and just rearrange a few things. 😙

As quickly as my tired fingers and crashing phone would allow (i know, technology 😑) hotplate made it easy to create another event to open asap for all the market inventory that night. Thank you ! 👏🏽 Needless to say I was seriously humbled and overcome with gratefulness for the outpouring of support from this awesome community . 🥹🙏🏽

☀️Weather ended up being just right for porch pickups and enjoyed seeing your faces at my door and chattin it up. It was a good day. :)

Ya see, no matter what little unplanned “storms” may arise in life just know in the end it all works out the way it’s meant to. May not be how we envision but it’s usually better. 🙌🏽 Crazy, right? Always His timing. He’s got it. Always. A constant reminder I need for sure. 🙃

🌻Little pops of lately.. and all this time I thought it was fall cozy I was cravin. But really it was just an intentional slow to count my blessings, refocus on what truly matters most☝🏽, and being more in the moment with those I love and cherish.

•Super grateful for community. Blessed by another successful market and these awesome lil helpers :) 🙏🏽always a sweet time.

•raisin cinnamon loaf experiment to find a less messy way. Yes! 👉🏽 Trick is fold in raisins in stretch n folds and then add sugar cinnamon mix right before shaping with lamination. More work? yes BUT not a huge wet mess :) 🙌🏽

TRULY stOked to finally intro the new logo for our little small biz labor of love! Seems it’s been forever dreaming of simple little sketches in our heads that would rep not just the goods we love as a fam and now humbly produce for our awesome community but what we value most.

It’s been a journey of pursuing simple, healthy, and kinda sorta sane.. depending on the day ha! In a world that values toxic “quick and easies” under the guise of convenience has really been an inspo to lead us back to basics.

Our “just jump” venture pursues breaking free from the systems ensuring cycles of sickness and sadness. From what just started as a simple bread alternative has organically turned into seeking simple in other areas as well. And no, don’t expect perfection here. Not gonna find it lol. I always say do what ya can with what ya have. That’s it. Just start. So wherever you are on your wellness journey we’re glad you stumbled upon our little corner and have decided to come along for the ride! I’m excited to see where God leads us next. And maybe it’s just bread and birds haha.. and that’s ok!
