Too much leftover bread? Sometimes it’s possible…and on the rare occasion it happens, I’ve made croutons with it. And, recently, I’ve turned those croutons into bread crumbs.
Planning ahead makes this a great and easy way to make a bread coating for so many things - our dinner of choice was schnitzel!!
• Bread cut into cubes and placed in a large bowl
• Sprinkle with alive oil and some seasonings (I used Italian and S&P) and mix it well
• Place a single layer and onto a cookie sheet and bake at 350° for 20 minutes, and toss - and then another 15-20 minutes to get crunchy.
Super easy!!
