We are going to ignore the condensation droplets this one time 🫪 It’s a live and learn situation in this heat

Can we talk about how for nights on end I would ponder how I would even accomplish this cake or any super creative cake. What steps I would take to cut out the road ? How far out or far in the filling would have to go to prevent leaking when I carve out the road. If the cake was too small , how I was going to make the rocks, or what I was going to use for the dirt. To say the least I had nothing figured out but everything figured out at the same time. I had extra cupcakes I could use for the dirt, simple fondant rocks never hurt anyone, and the carving ? Perfect. No leaking of the filling 🤪

I realized this is how most of my cake orders I am going into , not a clue of exactly how I am going to execute something. I have ideas but I know with the fluidity of baking I need to keep my options open, I also know that as a producer I would never give something to a customer I wasn’t initially in love with. Of course you’ll always have the little voices of “is it good enough?” “Did I cover everything they wanted?” “Was my vision matching theirs?” “Does it taste good?” In the end it always worked out and there’s something about reaching a flow state while doing something you love ✨😍

Incredibly grateful for every order and person I have met along the way, and excited for all the new faces this path will bring me on. I love and appreciate you guys , thank you for the support !!
