It was a two bloom bar kind of weekend.

Two neighboring high schools, two sets of freshman girls ready for the full homecoming experience.

One mom text me after and said one of the girls said, "I love being a girl."

Let's have a moment for the ladies and their bouquets. All gorgeous!

I absolutely loved being a part of their day.

Okay, friends, we are pivoting again (Yes, this is your order post but I needed to make an announcement first. If you just want to order, scroll down 👇).

Since switching to loaf pans my orders doubled (yay! tysm!), except now my oven is full every round of baking, changing the bake times on all of my loaves. In addition, the increase in volume is causing the stainless steel to struggle holding heat as well so it's causing all sorts of food-science-related issues.

So, in order to reduce the issues this may cause (namely undercooked/soft sides or caramelized bottoms), we are going to reduce the number of inclusion offerings each week to one sweet and one savory until I'm confident the issues won't happen anymore.

The solution is to buy new loaf pans, but since I literally just bought these, I'll be slowly replacing. I'll bake each type of bread separately to have more control over how the end bake comes out.

Happy Monday menu day!

Orders are open until Wednesday at midnight and pick up/delivery will be on Sunday.

When my sister told me my nephew was needing homecoming flowers, she asked for a boutonniere, a corsage, and a bouquet but specified my creative control was unlimited.

Enter, the floral purse instead of a standard bouquet.

It's a bouquet with a functional handle and I'm fully obsessed. With a little tinkering to the process these are going to be my favorite floral project to do.

And my goodness these colors couldn't have come together any better for a perfectly coordinated look that also maintains unique pieces.

I'm making my first floral purse for someone ready to standout, and a boutonniere for my nephew, this weekend. 🥹

My girl gets to do a masterclass at The Muny and then meet her big sister at dance.

Luke has plans to learn how to change the oil in my van.

It's a full weekend for me and my family so I don't want to stretch myself too thin. I apologize for not notifying you before menu drop day, but we'll be closed for orders this week.

I've been busy selling flowers and realized I haven't cut myself any in over a month, which is silly because it's why I started growing in the first place.

I love these colors, especially in the fall.

Thank you to everyone who purchased a bouquet from me this season.

Next year we are reworking the entire garden: adding beds, succession planting, and starting seeds in my tent so they'll be ready earlier in the season.

While I'm sad to see this season go, I can't wait to show you what I'm planning for next year.

And, as a reminder, just because I'm not growing after first frost doesn't mean I'm not available to help you create. With a little planning, we can still get the flowers you want!

I made another TJ's trip yesterday to pick up some flowers commissioned by a friend.

This is part that trip (garden roses, stock, and feverfew), part my garden (zinnias and celosia), and might be one of my favorite bouquets of the season.
