Family struggles shouldn't prevent kids from experiencing special moments. The Milestones Ministry helps families celebrate special events like birthdays, graduations, the beginning of school and holidays with gifts, supplies, and even all the ingredients for birthday cakes! Milestones is named in memory of Daniel Gerard, who in his brief 18 years on earth never missed reaching out to his friends on their birthdays.

Help us make a family's Christmas merry! Gathering Place has "adopted" a family supported by Family Promise of Greater Rochester, which supports families at risk of, or experiencing, homelessness. Sign up for an item from our list and either have it shipped to us at 570 Klem Rd. Webster or drop it off at 525 Bay Rd. Webster by Dec. 15. The outdoor pantry at Webster UCC is stocked with groceries including a birthday kit from Daniel C Gerard Milestones . A new birthday kit and Toys will be added all week in honor of Daniel’s birthday. If you or if someone you know is going through a hard time and is struggling to celebrate a milestone, please email [email protected] . We can help with gifts and supplies.

A crew of WILD sunday school kids and a few REBEL BEAT YOUTH leaders packed birthday kits for MILESTONES MINISTRY. These kits are available to families who need a little help with birthday supplies when going through challenging times. Each kit contains a baking pan, cake mix, frosting , sprinkles , candles, balloons, banner, soda and the recipe for soda pop cake. URGENT NEED FOR CARE 5000 ITEMS:
For a quick 2 weeks The Daniel Gerard Milestones Ministry at Webster UCC is collecting hygiene items for 50 CARE KITS for the guests at BABER HOT LUNCH. Please follow the link to a google doc to sign up. Bring items to church by Sept 11. Basket in narthex. THANK YOU !

CARE 5000 is an ongoing project sponsored by The Daniel Gerard Milestones Ministry at Webster UCC . Each CARE KIT holds personal hygiene items such as toothpaste, toothbrush, deodorant, soap, hand towel, wash cloth, lip balm and hand sanitizer in a gallon size ziplock bag. These kits are given to people in need through the outdoor pantry at Webster UCC, BABER Hot lunch and other outreach agencies. Consider building a kit or two as a meaningful family activity and drop it off at any outdoor pantry in Webster . The pantry at Webster UCC is located on the east end of the church opposite the community garden.

The Daniel Gerard Milestones Ministry at Webster UCC meets people where they are on life’s journey. One way we serve is by offering Mother’s / Father’s day gifts and birthday gifts. If you or someone you know is having difficulty getting a gift for a family member, Milestones Ministry can help get the gift and will even provide a grocery bag of celebration essentials such as a cake mix, frosting, oil and a pan to bake it in. Just message the Milestones page.

The DCG Milestones Ministry meets people where they are. So this summer we created the Summer Fun pantry next to the outdoor food pantry. Stop by and grab a summer activity bag, a game or even sneakers . We’re currently asking for donations of sunscreen. Just put it in the pantry at your convenience ! Thank you !
