Fresh from the kitchen… and I think we may have a new favorite at Samantha’s Sourdough 🍓✨

I tested a batch of Strawberry Sourdough Scones with vanilla glaze tonight and oh my goodness… they are SO yummy. Buttery, tender, full of fresh strawberries, with the perfect sweet vanilla drizzle on top.

These may need to make an appearance soon 👀

Happy Friday! 💗

It has already been such a busy week, but today things officially kick into overdrive. It’s bake day at Samantha’s Sourdough… and it’s also the girls’ very first day of volleyball season!

So today will be a little bit of everything: mixing, shaping, timing rises, running to practice, racing back to pull loaves out of the oven, then heading right back out again. I have a feeling there will be flour on my shirt, a timer going off in the car, and probably at least one loaf getting shaped in a hurry between volleyball drills. 😂

It’s going to be a wild summer, that’s for sure, but I wouldn’t trade it for anything. Busy days, growing girls, fresh bread, and lots of memories in the making. 🏐🥖

If you’ve been meaning to preorder for this weekend, now is the perfect time before I head into the chaos of the day! Thank you all so much for supporting this little bakery through all the busy, beautiful seasons. ✨

Round two! 😂🥨

Yesterday I got up at 5AM, made pretzels, and proudly announced they were headed to Orange Blossom Creamery… on a Sunday… when Orange Blossom was closed. A+ work, Samantha. 🤦‍♀️

BUT today I have redeemed myself. A fresh batch of sourdough soft pretzels is in the oven right now, and they are actually headed to the bread stand this time. For real. I checked the day and everything. 😅

As soon as they’re cooled and packed up, I’ll be dropping them off around 1PM. If you’ve been wanting to try them, don’t wait too long—they disappeared fast last time!
