Exciting news here at JLM's. Our Red Velvet cakes, cupcakes and whoopies are now free of artificial food coloring...good bye red dyes!! We are now using natural BEAUTIFUL Beet Powder!!! The powder gives the cakes a lovely, deep rose color. And don't worry, the delicious cream cheese frosting hasn't changed!! Come on in and try it them. Thank you!!

Hi Friends!! Just a reminder that we are now open Sundays from 8am-noon for Pastry and Breakfast Sandwiches. New to the cafe are homemade PopTarts. Made in-house using the french technique called Fraisage, where the butter is marbled into the dough on the workbench creating an incredibly flaky crust. Tomorrow we will have Berry AND Chocolate PopTarts for you. And we will be taking suggestions for future fun flavors. Did you know that Kellog's Pop Tarts are thier most popular item? Well, now you know and you gotta try homemade PopTarts at Just Like Mom's. Hope to see you on Sundays!!!

Jackie here....Just wanted to let you all know that your new owners will be adding gluten-sensitive sandwich specials and vegetarian soups to our specials board. Tomorrow we will have a special sandwich made with gluten-free bread, turkey, swiss, avocado, lettuce & tomato w/Grey Poupon mustard. (I haven't come up with a name for it yet 😆suggestions welcomed). And Jim made a delicious vegetarian Lentil Soup with elbow pasta, sprinkled with parmesan cheese. Yummy!! All our vegetarian soups will be made with 100% vegetarian stock. Stop in!!
