Some desserts never needed fixing.
They showed up on trays and disappeared by the end of the day.

Thick peanut butter bars with that warm, glossy frosting poured right on top.
Soft, rich, and exactly how you remember them.

Instructions
1️⃣ Heat oven to 375°F. Grease a rimmed sheet pan.
2️⃣ Melt butter and peanut butter together until smooth.
3️⃣ Stir in sugar, then eggs, milk, and vanilla.
4️⃣ Mix in flour, baking soda, and salt.
5️⃣ Spread batter evenly in pan.
6️⃣ Bake 15–18 minutes until set.

Frosting
7️⃣ Whisk powdered sugar, milk, vanilla, and peanut butter until smooth.
8️⃣ Spread frosting over warm bars.
9️⃣ Let set, slice, and serve.

The kind of treat that never made it past the counter.
