KoKo Cakes is a registered home-based bakery that specializes in custom cakes for all occasions: home-made with love for life's sweetest moments.

I've been baking pretty much my whole life! But I took a cake decorating class in the Fall of 2010 and it opened a whole new world for me and was the creative outlet I didn't know I was looking for. I took a big step in the Fall of 2018 and became licensed through the state of MN and began selling cakes to family and friends. Through word of mouth and a small social media presence, I am consistently busy with wonderful cake orders.

Pretty accurate actually, except it didn't have the correct KoKo Cakes logo and the family picture in the background! I mean, it might be SOMEBODY'S family, just not mine. Lol

We had the honor of creating this cupcake cross for Miss KoKo’s best friend’s little sister on her First Communion day. 💜 Filled with vanilla cupcakes, swirls of vanilla buttercream, and topped with a handmade fondant cross centerpiece.

One morning recently we got a last-minute specific birthday cake wish, and by that evening, there was a cake ready to celebrate! We don’t always have the room for same-day requests, but we are so glad the stars aligned for this one. Happy birthday! 🎉

🤠 A little western flair 🤎

Tried out a suede leather technique on this one—and after searching everywhere and finding zero tutorials, I just went for it… and I might’ve created something new! 🙌

Finished it off with his favorite shiny belt buckles to tie it all together.

And this is for the same busy kiddo we just posted his confirmation cake for last week—he’s got a full calendar and I’m here for it! 🎉

Oh Two-dles! ✨🎀

I had the absolute joy of creating this Minnie-inspired cake for my sweet goddaughter Kallie’s 2nd birthday a few years ago. From the polka dots to those iconic ears and a handmade pink bow, every bit was made with so much love.
