Exciting news! For anyone that has ordered a gluten free cake, you know I am very upfront about the possibility of cross contamination and the fact that I don't have a gluten free kitchen. I do everything I can to avoid the risks, but they will never be 0 with my kitchen. Well, I'm excited to say I've now eliminated one additional chance for cross contamination!

I got a used KitchenAid mixer recently for a great price and decided to pull it apart, deep clean all the components, regrease it and completely sanitize it. It'll now be a gluten free mixer! It'll be stored in my garage, not in my kitchen, and is only used for gluten free items! In true me fashion, of course I forgot to take pictures of it getting new grease and being put back together🤦

I still do not have a gluten free kitchen and am not certified as gluten free, but it's one step closer to limiting any risk of cross contamination.

Fondant Minecraft cakes are one of my favorite ones to make! They're so fun, but man are they a lot of little squares 😂 This one had a base layer of chocolate with raspberry filling and a top layer of vanilla bean with lemon curd filling. 😋

Freshly baked today with fresh hand squeezed lemon juice, not from a bottle. $10 each. If there's a lot of interest, I'll make a few more.
