I hope everyone has a great Memorial Day! Are you baking anything special today?
Yesterday my husband and I went over to our son's house. His beautiful family treated us to some fantastic cooking! We had crawfish, chicken, sausage, salad, potato salad, and to top it off my daughter-in-law gave a banana pudding a new twist. 🍌 She made it with Pepperidge Farm butter cookies instead of Vanilla Wafers. It was yummy!
What will be your favorite dish this holiday?

Native American cornmeal cookies! I threw in some mini chocolate chips. Other great additions are raisins or nuts.

Chewy strawberry cookies pack a big punch of strawberry flavor.

Homemade Goodness!

My family has grown so much in the last few years. At the time of this post I am up to 9 beautiful grandkids! The chaos of having the entire clan over is something I treasure. I love being in the kitchen and having all of my kids and grandkids over. It’s my favorite thing to do and I enjoy baking different treats for them. I also love to explore new and unique recipes, often adding my own twist. All of my goods are made from scratch. I also use my own homemade extracts in all of my recipes. I hope you enjoy my page!
