This weekend is the Santas Stocking Craft fair Virginia Beach Parks & Recreation Kempsville Recreation Center There are so many great vendors. I will be there with tons of fresh sourdough breads, cookies and sourdough gift baskets. Also you can sign up in person for my next sourdough
Class and receive a discount on ticket price. Last year so many people came to the craft fair. Hope to see you there

Celebrating 10 Years of The ViBe Creative District ⚡ ⚡️

This week marks a milestone for our community — the ViBe Creative District turns 10! Long before the ViBe District was even imagined, Old Beach Farmers Market was already here, planting roots at the oceanfront and bringing fresh, local food to Virginia Beach

Back in 2008, our founders Laura Wood, Ann Wright, Bruce Pensyl and Duff Kliewer started OBFM with just a handful of vendors and a vision: to connect local farmers, food producers, and the community. What began as a small gathering has grown into a Saturday tradition, thriving right in the heart of what is now known as the ViBe District.

Over the last decade, we’ve seen this neighborhood flourish into a hub of art, music, creativity, and good food. From murals and live performances to local makers and our farmers, the ViBe’s energy has become part of OBFM’s story — and we couldn’t be more grateful to have grown together
