We’re so grateful to everyone who stopped by for a loaf, bag of bagels, or a sweet treat — your support keeps us going and means the world.
It was also such a wonderful chance to connect with the community and other vendors. We love sharing our passion for homemade sourdough and baked goods, and we’re already looking forward to the next event!

I’m doing my first vendor event — and it’s for a cause close to many people's hearts!
Fresh Batch Bakes is officially signed up for the Autism Awareness Vendor Show!

When: Saturday, May 4th | 12–4 PM
Where: Denny’s – 1401 Tintern St, Chesapeake, VA
Why it matters: All vendor fees go toward supporting special needs classrooms — helping provide rewards, educational tools, and supplies.

There will be live music from All Occasion’s Entertainment, amazing local vendors, and of course — your favorite baked goods from Fresh Batch Bakes.

Come out, say hi, and support a great cause. I’d love to see some familiar faces!

There’s just something about slow Saturday mornings in the kitchen—warm oven, quiet house (for a minute, anyway), and the smell of butter and chocolate filling the air.

Baking scones like these sourdough chocolate chunk beauties is hands-down my favorite way to start the weekend. Rich, tender, and absolutely packed with chocolate—because if we’re doing scones, we’re doing scones.

Grateful to be baking again in Virginia Beach and sharing these with you all.

Fresh Batch is finding its rhythm again.
After the chaos of PCS life, we’re finally settling in. Suitcases are (mostly) unpacked, the kitchen smells like sourdough again, and Fresh Batch Bakes is slowly coming back to life.

I've been working behind the scenes—applying to local farmers markets, vendor events, and baking for nearby friends and familiar faces. It’s been a balancing act, but I’m excited to rebuild this little bakery in a new place.

If you're local and looking for something sweet, fresh, and home baked, I’d love to bake for you.

Thanks for sticking around. This next chapter is just getting started.

To all my wonderful customers here in Okinawa,

After much thought and planning, I want to share that my family and I are preparing for a big transition. We will be PCS’ing back to Virginia Beach soon as part of our military journey.

As we gear up for this move, I will no longer be taking orders in Okinawa to allow time for packing, preparations, and spending these last moments with our community here. This decision wasn’t easy because baking for you all has brought so much joy to my heart, but it’s time for the next chapter.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your support, kindness, and love for Fresh Batch Bakes. It has been an honor to serve you, and I’ll always cherish the memories we’ve made together.

Once we’re settled in Virginia Beach, I hope to bring Fresh Batch Bakes to life again and continue sharing my passion with new friends and neighbors.
