I almost hung up my apron on my 10-year anniversary. My baby left for college, and there went my assistant 😩 …
Then comments like these reminded me why I love what I do.

This Monday, let this be your reminder , a hard season doesn’t mean your passion has run its course. Sometimes you just need a little encouragement to keep going. Thank y’all for being mine 🫶🏽🙏🏾😘!!

👩🏽‍🍳 A SPRINKLE OF ME SATURDAY ✨
Meet Your Pastry Chef

Let me sprinkle a few fun facts about the woman behind Bette Bakes Cakes…

1. I’ve been baking for over 10 years.

2. I started out ONLY baking cakes — that’s actually how the name Bette Bakes Cakes came about! 🎂

3. My love for baking started with my granny’s Seven-Up and pineapple coconut cakes.

4. I’m a world traveler AND a travel advisor. ✈️ If I’m not baking, I’m somewhere booking me a flight! 😂

5. Every time I travel, I HAVE to find a local bakery. I’ve got to taste the competition 😂 and get some new flavor ideas.

6. I’m a mother of five beautiful & AMAZING daughters . 💕

7. My favorite dessert is German chocolate cake.
🍫🥥

8. I pride myself on being a pastry chef who does a little bit of EVERYTHING not just cakes!

9. Fun fact: I could eat a whole pan of banana 🍌 pudding by myself. 😂

10. Crazy fact: I’d rather eat sweets than regular food. 🍰😂

Now tell me what’s your favorite dessert you’ve ordered from me ? 🤔😘
