Pittsburgh Cookie Table

Pittsburgh Cookie Table I do custom cookie decorating for all occations--showers, birthdays, weddings, holidays, graduations FAQ

1. To acquire an accurate price, please message me.

What does it cost for a dozen Custom Decorated Cookies? The price will vary on these as they are custom made! Just to give you an idea, the most basic designs start @ $55/dozen. The more detailed the theme & design, the higher the price will be. Be as specific as possible, giving me the quantity, colors and theme desired as well as the date they will be needed by so that I can determine what your

cookies will cost. All cookies will be individually bagged and heat sealed to ensure freshness!

2. Do you deliver? Only for large orders…over $300 and only within a 10 mile radius. Please message me for more details if this service is needed. Most orders are picked up from my home.

3. Do you give discounts? At my personal discretion only!

4. When is payment due? Payment is due in full when the order is placed and ensures your order gets onto my Calendar. When an order is placed, a payment request link or invoice will be sent and must be paid within 24 hours. If no payment is received within that time frame, your order will NOT go onto my calendar and the date remains available for the next interested customer.

5. How far in advance do I need to order cookies? I believe that each and every customer deserves to have me at my best, therefore, I only take a limited amount of orders per week and I reserve dates for customers on a first come, first served basis. Please note that I am currently booking 4-6 weeks in advance. Occasionally, I will have availability on short notice, so there’s no harm in asking but please understand that if I decline to take your order…it is nothing personal, I just don’t have an opening for your date. Feel free to message me with any questions.

Something blue before I do!

I wasn’t sure how I would like the hydrangeas but I am so in love! 😍🩵

This couple had a logo that I was able to create into one of the designs (I’ll post in the comments).

My mom and I spent a long weekend in NJ visiting my grandmother for Mother’s Day. My mom grew up in a small town in Point Pleasant NJ—this is also where we vacation in the summer. The town is quiet and quaint 3 seasons of the year. When you drive through it, you feel like you’re taking a step back in time. Early morning walks on the boardwalk include a good morning or hello from each walker or jogger you pass by.
In just 2 months, the whole town will light up. The boardwalk rides will be running daily long into the night. The boardwalk will be filled with families and the smell of fried Oreos. The arcade will be packed.
It’s amazing to be there to see just a piece of this transition.

Fun fact—I’m sure you have all heard of Jersey Mikes. Jersey Mikes originated in Point Pleasant. I’ve looked forward to Jersey Mikes subs since I was little—always getting ham and provolone mikes way. I joke with my husband they only have 1 sub because until they started opening more franchises, I only had ever had 1 sub from there ever!

If you messaged me since the weekend and I did not get back to you yet, I will be sure to do so by EOD today. Thank you for your patience as I settle back into home.

My daughter was born Jan 2019. I was feeling the stress and guilt of being a new mom (again) and a working mom. It hurt my heart to feel like I was spending so many hours away from my family and new baby. I went on a search to find a new position that would give me a better work/home life balance.
I found a position! It was perfect! Great time off with my family! Great benefits! The only downfall was it was a little less than I was making financially. I knew I needed to supplement my income but what could I do??? It didn’t make sense to do something from outside my home—the whole point of taking this new position was to spend more time with my family.
I was watching my friends cookie journey. She lived in Oregon. Every time she posted I was falling in love with everything she made! I’m pretty crafty so I thought “I can do that!”
I took the position, went to the store, purchased all my ingredients, came home, made my icing exactly the way it was on the back of the Wilton’s container and…..

I tell this story at the beginning of every one of my classes. Below are my very first cookies I EVER attempted.

….Maybe they weren’t as terrible as I had thought they were the day I made them but I really thought I was going to just jump into making these beautiful masterpieces. There was a huge learning curve for me. 😂 Some of the learning curve was physically making the cookies but I also think it was a learning curve mentally too—of just how hard these edible works of art were to actually make. Over the years I’ve learned to give myself some grace. Take a step back and look at the whole picture instead of every tiny detail. I’ve learned to take and be proud of my small wins. Lastly I’ve learned great things take time.

Happy Mother’s Day to all the mommas working hard daily to give their children the best life. Remember to give yourself grace, take a step back occasionally and look at the whole picture—you’re doing amazing, be proud of the small wins, and Rome wasn’t built in a day. ❤️

I hope you enjoy my travel back through the years….of where I started and my steps along the way. Here is a snapshot of my cookie journey. Happy 7 year anniversary! I can’t wait to see what this next year will bring!!

I’ve been doing cookies for this little ballerina for the past (at least) 5 years twice a year for their spring and winter performances. This year she and 5 of their peers were asked to be part of the older girls group. 💕 Here are their semi-annual cookies! 🐘🩰🎪
