Hi Darling Dough crew 💛 I have been doing some thinking, and would LOVE your feedback. I will choose one person who comments here to give a $25 voucher to so they can grab whatever goodies they’d like!

I am wondering if it would be better to rotate out the menu. Do we like having a large classic menu available every weekend? Or should I scale back the classic menu and rotate stuff out? I’m feeling like the full classic menu may be overwhelming right now. But not sure if that would serve you all best. Eeeeek I don’t know! Helppppp 😩🤪💛

Hi friends! This week sort of got away from me. I went to market and then processed our meat chickens over the weekend. Then butchered them and have been making chicken broth for days and ya girl just got a littttttle distracted 🤪 so sorry about that! If you want anything this weekend, let me know asap! I’ll also have starter available this weekend at the Moonlight Market on W Houston! These are $10 and open up a whole new world of baking for you! I’d also loveeee to do it one more intro to sourdough class before we break for summer. I host these in my backyard, and I fear the heat may be a bummer 🤣🤣 I know some of yall missed the last one, I’d love to catch you at the next one! I am so excited to have been invited to join Moonlight Market on W Houston this weekend for their Memorial Day market! It’s on Friday night from 6-9 in Downtown Sherman and I cannot wait to see what all everyone has in store! I am going to be bringing lots of sourdough goodies from the classic menu, and a few specials for this market like sourdough waffles, patriotic cinnamon rolls and these Memorial Day sourdough chocolate chip cookie cakes 🇺🇸❤️ It’s going to be such a fun night. Happy Saturday, friends! Hope you’re enjoying this beautiful weather. A few things to update yall about this coming week. A very exciting update! I’ve been invited to join Moonlight Market on W Houston this week for the Memorial Day market. How fun is that? So I’ll be doing tonssss of baking for Friday night! Of course, if you can’t make it out, I’ll be happy to do arrange pickups for you as usual 💛

I also wanted to share one of my favorite hacks for keeping up with baking things from scratch and not feeling like I’m loosing my mind being in the kitchen for ever 🤪, is doubling or tripling every recipe I bake. Even if you’re not ready to jump into sourdough yet, this is a great way to save money, time and effort while keeping your sanity! These sourdough waffles are so good and having a stash in my freezer makes a quick and easy breakfast I feel much better about than those frozen packs from the store 🫣🤪

I’ve considered selling these before, in case you’re uninterested in doubling or tripling recipes 😜 is this something you’d be interested in? Maybe I’ll take some to the market? 😜

This past weekend we wrapped another sourdough class at the pavilion! ☺️✨ It is seriously so much fun to share this skill with you all. I had been planning on sharing a lot more online sourdough content this year. Your girl bought a tripod and everything! I thought it would be fun to do a series called “yes you CANuary” for the whole month of January encouraging anyone who wants to, that they can do this!! Buttttt then life happened. Lots of hard stuff and it didn’t feel right to do all that, then. But it’s been creeping back into my mind, to share it with you all. I am so thankful for the gift of sourdough and how it provides for my family in so many ways, and I think it’s such a versatile skill to learn, and I’d love to share with anyone who wants to know. What do yall think? Is this something we’d be interested in? Or are you here to purchase and consume only with no interest in learning? 🫣🤪💛
