HELP WANTED — PRN / PART-TIME MILKER 🐄🥛

We are looking for a dependable PRN milker to help us on specific dates as needed at Guernsey Girl Creamery.

We are currently milking 27 cows, and a normal milking takes around 2–2½ hours at most. 5:30am & 5:30pm. This is not an everyday position or even necessarily an every-week position. I simply need someone I can call on for certain dates when we need an extra set of hands.

Dairy/milking experience would be wonderful, but I am willing to train the right person who is dependable, comfortable around cattle, willing to learn, and understands that when you commit to a milking, we are counting on you to be there.

Compensation is negotiable. If you'd rather be paid 💵 or if farm products are more your speed, we can discuss that too.

Morning and/or evening availability would be helpful, but you do not have to be available for both.

Truthfully, I just need some freaking help. 😂 Dairy farming is 365 days a year, and having one or two dependable people we can call when we need coverage would make a world of difference. And with the cow shows coming up if we don't have help the kids don't get to go.

What is everyone up to on this sunny Saturday? 🌞

I'm feeling super energized! ⚡

Working on the business side of things today and reworking the website! Which means: be on the lookout for a few NEW ITEMS 🥳

(I think a few of you will be excited to finally see!) 💜👋🫶

But my friends, I'm afraid I must share some not-so-happy news and announce that with the introduction of these new items, I will be needing to discontinue the two sizes of minis y'all have been accustomed to ordering: the half order & the full order. I know some may be upset with this discontinuation, however, I still plan on offering the option of ordering larger numbers of minis for your events or occasions! I will be working on a listing to put on the website for this option so it is available. So really, just think of this as a small adjustment to make room for new and exciting things! 🤗
