Finally getting some time to try out new recipes! These are filled sweet rolls! What started as an accident in the garden lead to this creation! Some stalks got knocked off our rhubarb plant and I didn't want them to go to waste. I didn't have enough for a pie so now we have strawberry rhubarb rolls! The first ones I rolled leaked but the last ones I figured out and look really nice. I'll post a picture once we cut one open!

💔😭I've made the decision to close my home bakery. It was a dream of mine after I lost my job of 8 years to bake and stay home with my kiddos! I got to enjoy it a little bit but unfortunately I had no support to help me get out to markets and actively be out in the community regularly. There are so many other wonderful little bakeries in the area it is unfair to compete with them! I will always have sourdough starter and don't mind answering questions about it! I may sell on the marketplace from my personal profile once in awhile when I'm in a baking mood but I am no longer taking orders. It was fun while it lasted but with the cost of supplies, packaging and labels I ultimately didn't make much if anything. Good luck to all the other bakers hustling in the neighborhood! I know you have similar dreams and I hope yours come true! 💔 🍞 🥪 🥖 🥐 🍪
