Today was almost ๐ ๐๐๐๐ ๐
๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐
๐๐ for Indulge.
I had reached the point where I was preparing to write a post announcing that we were closing our doors. Not because we wanted to. Not because we've stopped believing in what we're doing. But because, financially, we just couldn't see a way to keep going.
We've poured everything we have into this little business. The hours are long, the stress is real, and there have been more sleepless nights than I care to admit. We've tried new things, made changes, worked harder, and kept hoping things would turn around.
And today, when I was about ready to throw in the towel, God showed up. โค๏ธ
Someone walked through our doors and blessed us with an incredibly generous gift. A gift that gives us something we were running out of.
Time.
Time to keep fighting. Time to make some changes. Time to give this dream another chance.
I can't even begin to put into words what that meant to us. And while I won't share the details, I hope that person knows just how much their kindness has impacted our family.

But I also want to be completely transparent.

This gift has given us some breathing room, but it isn't a permanent solution. For Indulge to survive long term, we need our community to show up for us.
And I don't mean that everyone needs to come spend $50. Stop in for a $3 cookie. Grab a drink on your lunch break. Bring the kids for ice cream. Order a birthday cake. Share our posts. Tell your friends about us.
Those little purchases that might not seem like much? ๐ง๐ต๐ฒ๐ ๐บ๐ฒ๐ฎ๐ป ๐๐ฉ๐๐ฅ๐ฌ๐ง๐๐๐ก๐ ๐๐ผ ๐ฎ ๐๐บ๐ฎ๐น๐น ๐ฏ๐๐๐ถ๐ป๐ฒ๐๐ ๐น๐ถ๐ธ๐ฒ ๐ผ๐๐ฟ๐.
I know times are tough for everyone. Believe me, I get it. And I would never want anyone to spend money they don't have just to support us. Even sharing a post or telling someone about us makes a difference.
I also know that we have to do our part. We have to figure out what's working, what isn't, and what we need to change to make this business sustainable. And we're going to do exactly that.
I don't want this to sound like a guilt trip. That's not what this is. This is me being vulnerable, something I'm not always very good at. This is me admitting that we're struggling, that we've been scared, and that today someone gave us a reason to keep believing.

So we're going to keep showing up, keep baking, keep making your favorite drinks, and keep fighting for this little shop.
We just need you to keep showing up with us.
