“Maybe I should try going gluten free,” I thought to myself all those years (5!) ago. After many attempts to alleviate my ongoing health issues, this seemed to be the answer. Begrudgingly, I set out on my gf journey. I went to the store and bought every single item that had the words GLUTEN FREE on the front. Boy oh boy was I setting myself up for disappointment. And if you’ve been gf for awhile y

ou know what I’m talking about! Heavy, grimy, odd textured foods mimicking my favorites. Nothing compared. So I set out to make my own… and little did I know, this was the beginning of MaeBakes! I was determined to recreate my favorite baked goods and I think I’ve done just that… Dare I say they are even better than their ‘regular’ counterparts ;)
