Always sampling...

A cozy cup of coffee and a snack after yesterday's appointment.

A quick, final update for all who have asked...

After one laser repair, two retina surgeries and one cataract surgery in a nine month period...my eye is simply not going to 'get better' from this point.
The Dr at Mass Eye & Ear and my surgeon in Portland have both confirmed that at this point, they hope my brain will start to help out.

I feel fortunate, so many deal with so much more. So much!

I'll learn to work with depth perception issues and closing one eye while I work, read, watch tv for now but in time, I'm hoping my brain does start to help out.
(She said if I was 80, she'd just console me but since I'm in my 50's...my brain should start to work its magic slowly)

Just didn't want you to think I'm inappropriately winking 😉 at you while at the front counter or walking down Main Street...or dropping your change a few inches in front of your hand because I'm sipping on something in the back! 😂

Appreciate all of you checking in and now I go forward having the answers.

And guess what?!?!
I think our cookies taste a bit better than Massachusetts General Hospital but these certainly are the perfect snack at the perfect time for many. 🥰

Cheers to almost fall! Almost golf tournament! And crazy enough, almost holidays!!

At the end of Jake and Hannah’s reception, Jake came up to thank me for such a wonderful day. What he told me really stayed with me.

He said they had originally dreamed of getting married in October, but when they came for their tour, the only date we had available was in August. After seeing the venue, they fell in love with it—but more than that, they told me they knew they could trust me to take care of them on their wedding day.

So they let go of their dream of an October wedding because choosing Harmony Hill Farm just felt right.

Well, Jake and Hannah… thank you. Thank you for having that faith in Mark and me and for trusting us with such an important day.

And your wedding? Pure perfection. ❤️

We loved celebrating with you, and we love you right back!
