Babycakes Cupcakes Hello everyone 🙋🏻‍♀️, my name is Maddie, owner of Babycakes Cupcakes. I am located in Victoria TX now. Babycakes makes gourmet and creative/themed cupcakes.

I use to live in Port Lavaca where I opened up my first cupcake shop! I specialize in gourmet and custom cupcakes and bake for all events ❤️🧁🧁🧁. Currently we have 93 cupcake gourmet cupcake flavors. Hours of operation are Monday thru Friday 11a.m-4p.m. Closed on Saturdays and Sundays

Our son Omari is now officially Victorias little food reviewer/influencer! He has a brand-new TikTok and Im working on a page dedicated to food and dessert reviews, and he is already having so much fun sharing his honest opinions!

It would be an honor if you all could also help support him too by following his TikTok and pages as he gives Victoria something we all need — the low down dirty honest truth!😆

Omari has reviewed Crumbl Cookies 🍪, Raising Cane’s🍗, Whataburger🍔🍟, and many more local favorites — and trust me, he is not afraid to tell you exactly what he thinks! 😂

So if you want the truth about your favorite food spots, local bakeries, restaurants, you name it you better follow along before this little food critic starts charging for consultations! 😆

And honestly, if you want the truth, what better way than to ask a toddler — because they have absolutely no problem telling you exactly how they feel! 😂

For security reasons, I will be monitoring his pages and managing the accounts, but Omari is the one bringing the honest reviews, big reactions, and plenty of personality.

We’ll be checking out local food chains, restaurants, bakeries, dessert shops, and more around Victoria and beyond!

💕 TODAY I’M CHOOSING TO POUR BACK INTO MY COMMUNITY 💕

I’ve been thinking about this a lot lately…

Small businesses are struggling right now. Ingredient costs are HIGH. Supplies are expensive. Everything seems to cost more, and for some small businesses, and sadly enough some sales just aren’t coming in like they used to for some people and that hurts my heart so bad.

And behind every small business is a REAL person. 💗

A mom trying to help provide for her family.
A woman chasing a dream she was once scared to even start.
Someone baking until midnight after working all day.
Someone wondering if this month will be better than the last.
Someone who built something from absolutely NOTHING and is doing everything she can to keep it going.
I know that feeling because I built Babycakes Cupcakes from the ground up. 🧁💕
I know the late nights. The early mornings. The money invested before you ever make a dollar back. The mistakes, the learning, the tears, the prayers, the excitement when someone places an order, and the incredible feeling when somebody chooses YOUR little business when they could have gone anywhere else.

That’s why today, I’m taking the day off from my own business to support OTHER local businesses. 💕
I want to go around and purchase what I can from our local bakers — and not just ONE. I want to spread that support around and show love to as many as I can.

The beautiful storefront bakeries. 🧁
The home bakers working out of their kitchens. 🏡

The adorable dessert and sweet pop-up carts. 🍓

The food trucks. 🚚

The cottage bakers. 🍪

The treat makers, cake decorators, cookie artists, and all the other small food businesses pouring their hearts into what they do.

There is room at the table for ALL OF US. 💗

Supporting another woman does NOT take anything away from me.
Her success does not mean my failure.

Her talent doesn't diminish mine.

Her getting an order doesn't mean there won't be another order for me.

I will forever be a girl’s girl. 💕

I want to see other women WIN.

I want to clap when their businesses grow. I want to share their posts, recommend their businesses, buy their products, and remind them that all of their hard work matters.

Because I remember what it felt like building my foundation by myself, from the ground up. And if I have an opportunity to make another small-business owner feel seen and supported, I’m going to do it.

So today, I will be supporting and doing the same ❤️

Even when you can't spend money, a share, comment, recommendation, or kind word costs absolutely nothing — but to a small-business owner, it can mean EVERYTHING. 🥹💕

We don't have to compete with one another to succeed.
We can grow together. We can support each other. We can keep money in our community. And we can help keep somebody's dream alive.

STRAWBERRY LEMONADE a yummy lemon cake made with fresh lemon juice and zest, filled with a delicious lemon filling, topped with a yummy strawberry buttercream frosting! I'm proud of this one!

I got great reviews and positive feedback on these. They definitely give you those summer vibes with every bite
