Yup, broke down and bought a new mixer. She's gorgeous, isn't she?? Poor Old Bessie just can't do it all by herself!
Trying a new brand stand mixer since I haven't been too happy with , seeing as THREE of mine (all within 5 years old) are dead and apparently can't be fixed locally 😡 Would love to try the Ankarsrum seeing as I'm such a bread person but that is not in the budget lol So, wish me luck!

Hello friends! A few of you have inquired lately on missing posts/not seeing us like normal. Truthfully, Hocus Pocus and Black Magic (my larger, and significantly younger mixers) both took a header during the winter holidays, so for now all I have is my good old reliable 4.5 qt Bessie to keep me company. They certainly don't make them like they used to - not even KitchenAid ! But do not fret!! Any and all requests will certainly be fulfilled when needed. 💪🏻 I just haven't been making much excess to protect my old lady as much as possible.
Had so much fun on this adventure! From the get-go, the ability to work on such a wonderful project had me excited. The trust and faith in me was so wonderful! Making untraditionally traditional treats is by far one of my favorite things to do! Thanks again, Jason, for everything! I truly hope this made you, and everyone else, very happy.
Incidentally, these are Triple Lemon Cake Cups (lemon cake, lemon ganache and lemon curd), Mexican Hot Chocolate Cheesecake Cups (chocolate cheesecake filling, spiced with cinnamon and cayenne, and topped with whip and raspberry, and last but not least, a traditional coconut cake, colored with variated colored flaked coconut. 💓

Have you guys tried Brazilian Lemonade yet?!?!?! Oh do yourselves a favor and do so ASAP!! Very easy to make. Fresh. Sweet but not overly. So so good!!
Had the amazing privilege of making a small wedding cake for friends getting married today!! This was definitely a new experience for me. I am very thankful I was entrusted with such a special task. Thank you so much!
NOTE TO SELF: Fruit is definitely necessary when making Pretzel Jello to keep jello from sliding off.
Also, Pretzel Jello is a completely acceptable breakfast choice.
