Just a bit of background here about myself and my baking journey. I always loved to be in the kitchen as far back as I can remember. From sampling the cookie dough, to sitting in front of the oven door, or dragging my stool to the stove, I was hanging out in the kitchen from a young age. Later, after some years of toting various treats in to my co-workers, I became a stay-at-home-mom, and my love

of decorating cakes began with making birthday cakes for my three girls. It grew into taking classes, making cakes for friends, and now getting to do what I love for many more people! I consider myself a baker and a cake decorator, because delicious treats are equally as important to me as beautiful ones. I can't really say which is more satisfying to hear...."That's too pretty to eat!", or "Mmmmm that was so good!"

I would say my favorite things to make are birthday cakes. Almost everyone likes a bit of special treatment on their birthday, and I really love to create something with a special meaning, a favorite color or theme, or a decadent favorite flavor just for that person. Birthdays are always a big day at our house, and I am grateful to be able to share a little part of my customers' special days too. Something new I'll have tonight are these🖤 Black Velvet Bars 🖤. They're not a cakey brownie...they're chewy, dense, and loaded with big bites of white chocolate, dark chocolate, and chunky Oreos. Good morning! I want to say THANK YOU to my friends and customers who have checked in with me over the past several months. I was diagnosed with both osteoarthritis and carpal tunnel, and I've been giving my hands a much needed break from the intense cake decorating schedule.

At this time, I am not yet opening my calendar for custom cakes. However, I am going to ease back into the kitchen with some buttercream favorites, as well as some new items.

I'm so happy to say that I'll be in the vendor area of the upcoming💞❤️ Kiwanis Cooking Show on Thursday evening, February 12!❤️💕 I'll have cake slices and mini heart cakes in my most popular flavors like chocolate peanut butter, classic white, and red velvet. Some new items will be on my table too...🍪Valentine Cookie Bars🍪, and 🖤Black Velvet Bars🖤 that are seriously next level!

For the time being, I expect to have some periodic drops of cash-n-carry items, with a pre-order window. Thank you again for the care and well-wishes.

Hello friends, I lost my mom to leukemia this week, so things are a bit quiet here on my cake page. For those who comment on my cake photos, you would have had to be pretty quick to get to the comments ahead of her. She was most known as the biggest supporter of anything her three kids did, and that never stopped in all of her 88 years. We are blessed to know for certain that she is pain-free and at home with her Lord and Savior. 💕
