Set sail for a sweet celebration! 🌊🌺

Happy 4th birthday to Rami—this island-inspired beauty was ready to ride the waves straight to the party! This cake featured layers of vanilla cake filled with strawberry coulis and finished with smooth vanilla buttercream. Every detail brought the Moana magic to life—from the fondant boat sailing the seas to shells, bamboo, tropical flowers, and ocean waves dancing around the cake. Topped off with a fun Moana cardstock topper for the perfect finishing touch!

There’s something extra special about baking with a purpose 💛

This week I had the honor of creating two custom cakes for kids through Cake4Kids—a truly amazing organization here in Northern Virginia that brings joy to children who deserve to feel celebrated.

While a special princess dreamed of a strawberry cake with the sweetest spa vibes 🧖‍♀️🍓

Moments like these remind me why I love what I do—being able to use creativity to bring smiles, even in the smallest ways. Every swirl of buttercream and every detail is made with love, knowing it’s going to make a child’s day just a little brighter.

IVF Awareness Month hits a little different when you’ve lived it. 💛

As someone whose body felt like it was working against me, it took finding Shady Grove Fertility and the incredible care of Dr. Greenhouse to finally find hope. Ten years of treatments, endless shots, daily appointments, heartbreak, disappointment, high-risk pregnancies, and more loans than I’d like to remember—long before “fertility coverage” was even a thing.

But three beautiful kids later, I wouldn’t change a single thing.

Infertility is a mental and emotional rollercoaster that’s hard to explain unless you’ve walked it yourself. It changes you. It tests you. It strengthens you.

I’m forever grateful for the amazing nurses who stood in the trenches with me for years, the doctors who gave us hope, the family and friends who supported us, and the resilience of women’s bodies that continue to amaze me every day.

And because we celebrate every special moment with cookies… of course IVF Awareness Month deserves sweet recognition too. 💕🍪

To anyone still in the middle of the journey—you are stronger than you know, and you are not alone.

Two years of farm-fresh fun and this cake was moo-velous! 🐮🚜🌾✨

This adorable number 2 farm-themed birthday cake was packed with sweet little details—from the handmade pig, ducks, cow, and sheep to all the barnyard charm! And to make it even sweeter, the special birthday girl had a matching farm-themed dress that tied the whole celebration together perfectly. 💕👗

Inside was rich chocolate cake layered with smooth Bavarian filling and finished with dreamy white chocolate ganache… because every birthday deserves a little extra sweetness. 🎂🤍
