CELEBRATING the 1st class back to since 2025 and we are HERE FOR IT!

🥹❤️The loveliest group of returning students and new students made me feel SO welcome that during my normal outro ending of saying thank you, I started to tear up.

The sense of relief of remembering how to do what I do after months of learning a whole new little human was immense.

NOW…on to class.

I am SO PROUD of the cookies these students decorated in class this afternoon with me in Mount Dora, Florida.

It was amazing to hear how many people traveled in, one all the way from Illinois!

S’MORES COOKIES…the best cookie as we head into fire pit season 🔥

Last week I received our quarterly newsletter from Disney Files, where they had highlighted a S’mores Cookie recipe from Trails End Restaurant, much to my delight!

BUT, after a quick glance, I knew the recipe would never work.

Why?

In every recipe, there’s a ratio of fat to flour ratio that makes it “WORK”…and 4 tablespoons of butter to 3 cups of flour was absolutely not it.

So, in contrast of that likely misprinted recipe, I’m sharing our S’mores Cookie recipe for your delight on a video tutorial this upcoming week.

Have you ever had that happen? Tried a recipe that was a complete failure? Don’t waste your ingredients (or your time!)

Don’t you hate it when you head to the supply store at the last minute only to find out what you’re looking for is completely sold out?

That happened to me on numerous occasions, including when I needed black nonpareils for a cookie class last year.

This trick ALSO works well for creating gold nonpareils.

The powder though? Sometimes it’s even harder to get than the decorations 😂
