RIP to my favorite spatula 😭💔

I truly didn’t think I could get emotionally attached to a kitchen tool… and yet here we are. You don’t realize how much you rely on something until it dramatically snaps on you mid-buttercream like it’s quitting its job. 😂

We’ve survived countless batches of buttercream, cake batter, fillings, and enough dishwashing marathons to qualify as a long-term relationship. Honestly, it was ride or die. 🥲

Anyone else get weirdly sentimental over broken kitchen stuff or is it just me? 🥲

Today I’m baking with a broken heart… and apparently also adding “spatula replacement” to my shopping list like it’s a life emergency. 🥺🫶🏻

Some people mourn lost shoes. I mourn a spatula like it was a trusted teammate in the kitchen playoffs. Same level of devastation. 😂
