I had fun decorating a custom order last week!

The base is a sugar cookie bar (yes, it’s as delicious as it sounds!), and I hand piped frosting and chocolate ships to fit an ocean theme.

The best part? It’s all gluten- and dairy-free!

Alt text: A video showing the before and after of a square baked good in a pastry box. The first photo has a few wavy blue lines of frosting. The final picture has more lines of frosting in two shades of blue with powdered sugar sprinkled on top (to mimic an ocean). It also has small boats made out of chocolate.

Come visit me at the LAST Umatilla Saturday Market for the summer! ☀️

I’ll have free mini savory scones, and you can also snag some free shaved ice while you’re there 🤩

If you made it to the Umatilla Saturday Market this last weekend, you might’ve seen this sign at some of the booths.

Huge shout out to City of Umatilla for their creative way to bring in shoppers while supporting local businesses. Thank you so much for the opportunity to participate!

Missed the market? You’ve got one more chance next month, on August 8th! Make sure to stop by the Umatilla Parks and Rec table to get a ticket for a free item (although next month’s item is a surprise…)

I’m also happy to do private orders- just drop me a line 🤗

The Umatilla Saturday Market is this weekend! 🥳 Stop by my booth for a FREE chai donut bite- plus you can snag a free drink from another vendor while you enjoy some live music.

I picked up some new cookie cutters that I’m excited to put to good use!

This week’s batch was heart-shaped gingerbread cookies. My kitchen smelled heavenly 🥰

The bakery's new logo is coming in for landing 🚀

I'm also working on updating the price list to reflect all the new goodies available- stay tuned!

For our friends who use alternative text:
The logo is shaped like a rounded window. The top arch is made of two curved lines of text. The top reads "Gluten-Free Goodies", and the inner line is "by Catherine EM Boucher". Green branches standing upright curve up from the bottom on both sides to complete the arch. The words "Handmade in Umatilla, OR" stretch across the bottom, connecting the base of the two branches. A baking whisk is in the open center space of the arch.

Save the date! Catch me and Merry Meridional at the Book Sale and Craft Fair. May 2 at the Irrigon Library.

The FOIL book sale and craft fair is only a month away! Come see us and buy a few books, or some yummy baked goods, maybe something for that wonderful woman you know as "MOM" or maybe something for your wife, or grandma, or maybe just because you like craft fairs!

May 2nd 9am-6pm at the Irrigon Library.
