Brioche SWEET: Eggnog Cream

Smooth fluffy creamy oh so dreamy creme diplomat with fresh nutmeg & a proper hint of grandmother approved brandy, this is where carton eggnog dies and goes to heaven. With a stenciled snowflake on top just in time for some real snow on the ground!

Brioche SAVORY: Everything Bagel + Artichoke Lemon

Yes, two savory filling for you to choose from! Why not get both?

Brioche JAM: Pluot

This is my favorite favorite favorite jam. Velvety smooth, bitingly tart, complex winey flavor. Inside a pillow of buttery brioche. My mouth is literally watering rn.

Brioche SWEET fill: Holiday Chestnut
Fresh roasted chestnut pastry cream sweetened with a hint of honey, roasty notes deepened with a small dose of coffee. Chestnut icing on top, with chocolate design. Arcana added ā€œIf you haven’t posted yet, you might tell the people that chestnuts make for popular sweets in Europe, especially France & Italy.ā€ I in turn will add I LOVE CHESTNUT PASTRY CREAM.

Brioche SAVORY fill: Lemon Artichoke
Lemon zest and juice paired with all time classic artichoke hearts. Chopped parsley, thyme, red onion & garlic join the merriment of whipped cream cheese. Not actually sure what we’re topping this with…. Hmmm.

Brioche JAM fill: Italian Plum
Grown right here in our own orchard, a customer favorite of our local jam selections.

Galette: Leek & Ham Mornay
Declared the best galette yet by Amber, one of our mighty morning bakers. I am tempted to agree… SautĆ©ed leeks and shaved ham in mornay (cheese) sauce held on top of Arcana’s perfect puff pastry. Topped with parmesan.

Brioche SWEET: Horchata
Rice and cinnamon cream in a luxe creme patisserie base. Topped with horchata icing and a flaky pastry cinnamon cookie. Tsates like the first valley snows.

Brioche SAVORY: Smoked Salmon Mousse
Smoked salmon, dill, capers & fresh lemon make whipped cream cheese heavenly. Topped with poppy seed and toasted onion, this is a savory rarely offered – never to be missed.

Brioche JAM: Golden Plum
Packing a punch of homegrown flavor, which plum is your favorite? This one is mine.

Brioche SWEET: Cranberry Crumble
A holiday cranberry compote bolstered with orange zest & fresh ginger, a pinch of cardamom & splash of brandy. Topped with our buttery crisp graham cracker crumble, HAPPY FALL!

Brioche SAVORY: Old-World Everything Bagel
Our signature savory. Fresh herb & red onion whipped cream cheese stuffed inside our slow fermented brioche. Topped with our very own everything bagel seasoning blend that’s just a little bit different than any you have had before.

Red Plum Jam: Brilliant color, beautiful flavor, from our own orchard.

Seasonal CAKE Doughnuts: Pink Grapefruit is done for the year; say hello again to an old friend: Maple Walnut. with a maple cream cheese frosting and a crunchy candied walnut topping on top a tasty vanilla cake ring. Xocolatl, our rendition of Mexican chocolate is here to stay a while yet.

What a lusciously languorous fall we are having here. Nearly all the leaves off the orchard, the full color display throughout the valley has been stunning. Brioche SWEET: Chocolate Pecan

In the new tradition of holiday chocolate pecan pies. Chocolate brown sugar creme patisserie with a pecan butter swirl clutched inside a pillow of our superlative brioche. Topped with a spread of brown sugar icing, toasted pecans & a dark chocolate drizzle.

Brioche SAVORY: Bacon Ranch

Special ranch herbs and spices (parsley, cilantro, dill, garlic, scallion…), minced red pepper, and smokey bacon. Topped with onion flakes, bacon crumble, cracked black pepper & yet more herbs. Because we are adamant fans of flavor.

Jam: Raspberry (always made from scratch!)

SEASONAL Cake: XOCOLATL (Mexican Chocolate) Is tasting pitch perfect for the weather. In other news PINK GRAPEFRUIT fans better get your fill while you still can, it’s getting on time for a switch. (Have I mentioned lately that that brilliant pink colored frosting is 100% natural? That we *never* use artificial colors or flavors? It’s just a splash of hibiscus. Which is good for you šŸ˜‰)

Remember way back when we had a vote for customer favorite? Well Mango Curd was the clear winner. To thank you for your astounding loyalty and support through the years, we thought we would give you your fave flave, punched up with a luxe dose of lively lime zest and juice. No scurvy for you this winter!

Brioche SAVORY: Willowbrook Tomato Jam

A glorious red ripe end of season tomato harvest from turned to thick sweet and savory tomato jam. Held jnside our one and only tangzhong brioche bun, the top is gilded with a slick of sticky balsamic reduction, and sprinkle redolent herb and onion topping. The end of summer in one bite.

Brioche JAM: Golden Plum

Tiny little plums that glow like neon lights when we cook them down for this scratch homestead jam.

NEW Seasonal Cake Flavor Xocolatl is BACK!
Our classic fudgy dark chocolate frosting goes south to chocolate’s roots with the addition of sun dried heirloom Chimayo NM red chile powder, cinnamon and secret spice. Topped with dark chocolate pearly crisps and pinches of electric chile, you would be forgiven for forgetting just how crisp and moist the chocolate cake below really is.

Brioche SWEET: Hazelnut Pear Supreme

Toasted hazelnut mousse get’s the harvest season treatment when we fold it with scratch pear butter from our own orchard. Topped with chopped hazelnuts and a dried pear slice, our beautifully balanced brioche holds it all together.

Brioche SAVORY: Old-World Everything Bagel

Fistfuls of fresh herbs and a bounty of red onion blended into our tangy whipped cream cheese. Piped into a plump round of slow fermented brioche, finally topped with our totally classic yet totally different Old-World everything bagel seasoning blend. A symphony of fantastically flavorful feelings you just ain’t gonna get anywhere else.

Brioche SWEET: Butterscotcheroos

Based on the Midwestern classic bar cookie scotcheroos. Unctuous butterscotch creme patisserie of my childhood fantasies. Painted with peanut butter icing, topped with a dark chocolate rice crisp treat. Inner child REJOICE!

Brioche SAVORY: Curry Masala

A complex blend of fresh toasted spice brings deeply warming nutty earth notes to classic to the British interpretation. Onion and garlic laden whipped cream cheese specked with spinach and roasted Willowbrook farm tomato cranks the comfort vibes 10. Topped with rare shah zeera black cumin seed, toasted onion and Maldon salt flake.

Brioche JAM: Garden Strawberry

Happy Equinox! šŸŒž

It’s that time of year when sight of the apples glowing in golden autumn light stops me in my tracks. I can’t help but be taken with their beauty, the summer long irritation of irrigation suddenly falls away and I just want to kiss these trees for all they give back to us, for all the many apples, pears, plums, apricots & cherries that we get to share with you every week. It was these fruits that gave us our name, Orchard House. And we’re so grateful for it.

(And yes, in case you missed it – apple fritters are back!)

Brioche SWEET: ALMOND CHERRY— a last gasp of summer’s fruits! Almond creme patisserie, studded with our own Montmorency tart cherries. Topped with almond cherry juice icing, sliced almonds & frangipane crumble.
