I make all my friends birthday cakes of course and when my best friend asked me to make her an ice cream cake I was nervous. I’ve never made an ice cream cake but how fun was this! It was delicious and I learned a lot on how I need to freeze more in between icing diffrent things to avoid melting. Love trying new things! That fudgy crunchy classic ice cream center was delicious!

Wanted to make something in honor of the amazing woman this bakery is named after and dedicated too, my grandma, Rosa Marie Johnson. She really inspired my love for baking and I really just wanted to make something for no reason other then just her today as we lost her three years ago this week. I even have a picture of what I believe to be the first cake we ever baked together❤️
