As of tonight, Wednesday 10/14 at 7pm, our pre-orders for next Saturday’s drop (10/24) are officially open! ✨

We’ve been getting some really great questions about how often we’re going to use our Bread Shed for our farmstand, self-service setup. Below are some quick facts so you can stay in the know about all our farmstand updates! ✨

❓ Q: Will you be doing a self-service farmstand setup in October?
✅ A: No (sorry!), we will start offering our self-service setup again in November, due to a very busy–but wonderful!–Fall season. 🍁

❓ Q: How often will you be offering the self-service setup in the Bread Shed?
✅ A: We’ll start with one day for the month of November, and then possibly go up to two days a month based on demand 😊

❓ Q: How will I know when you’re doing the self-service setup in the Bread Shed?
✅ A: We’ll make sure to give you the heads up on both our Facebook and Instagram accounts 💬 👍

❓ Q: Will you still do regular drops and Saturday pickups every week?
✅ A: Yes! Our next drop goes live October 14th, with our next Saturday pickup on October 24th. After those, we’ll continue our weekly drop and Saturday pickup schedule 💜

Due to an incredibly busy season, with both baking and family, our weekly drops will be resuming on October 14th, with our next Saturday pickup on October 24th. 💜

Hi friends! 🥖

We’re super passionate about sourdough, so we might throw a few facts out now and again. ✅

For instance, did you know our sourdough is made fresh with no preservatives?

This means that not only is sourdough an especially healthy food, but it’s also best to follow a golden rule when you’ve got sourdough goods stashed in your kitchen:

Here at JSG, we call it the 3 days rule: it’s best to eat or freeze your sourdough within 3 days after receiving it. ⏰

This will help keep it at optimal freshness, taste, and texture. ✨

Welp, that’s enough of us nerding out for now! We’ll be back at you with more sourdough facts soon, but in the meantime we hope you have an amazing Sunday. ☕

We think we’ll spend ours snacking on some sourdough cinnamon twists while baking some more sourdough 😜 🍞

Hi friends! 🥖

We’ll be taking a little break next week to spend time with visiting family, so we won’t be doing our usual drop for next Saturday, October 10th.

But don’t worry, you can still satisfy your sourdough cravings by picking up our goods at the wonderful Navarino Orchard 🍎, next Thursday (10/8) and Saturday (10/10)!

Navarino sells several of our most popular baked goods, and their store is AMAZING, with a beautiful, historic setting and lots of locally-grown and locally-baked foods. ✨

So please check them out if you get a chance, and we’ll be back for another drop, Saturday, October 17th. ✅

Hi friends! ✨

We are so excited to introduce a new menu item – our Sourdough Sandwich Rolls! 🎉

With a soft, delicious interior, these rolls are great companions to any meal, but here are 4 of our favorite ways to scarf them down:

🍲 Buttered, as a side with soup or dinner
🍳 Toasted with breakfast in the morning
🥪 Turned into sandwiches for lunch
🧄 Oven-toasted with garlic, as a side for pasta
