I had so much fun making my baby boy’s second birthday cake! He loved it so it makes all the hard work worth it. Happy Birthday Archie boy. I love you so much!

I haven’t posted any cakes in awhile so here’s a new one. I rarely do “pretty” cakes but I just dropped this one off this afternoon. This is just a plain white cake and vanilla icing. The rose is all modeling chocolate. I think it turned out ok.

This is why custom cakes cost so much. This is just putting wings on one bee. Multiply that by 150 and add to it the time it took to make the bodies and cut out the wings themselves. Solid 8 hrs of work. Custom bakers really do not charge enough.

Super cute rock climbing cake ready to go out today! This little dude made me so happy when he wanted alternating strawberry and lemon fillings. I’ve been wanting to do a cake like this for awhile. I hope you enjoy your cake, Brett! Happy Birthday!
