I need to take time to brag on this husband of mine. The first 6 months of this year were very rocky for us. We found our way back to one another and fully relied on God to provide, which means we had to be faithful and literally give it all to him when we said that’s what we were doing. You see, Jerry Dills has been on a football field or calling plays on Friday nights for over 30 years, until this year. Tonight is the first Friday night he has missed probably since he started playing the sport himself in high school. Since retiring from the city a few years ago, he really hasn’t found his “thing” and he’s done a little of this and a little of that, but today…things have come full circle. All his studying, hard work, dedication and faithfulness have paid off! I’m so proud of him and I have always been his biggest cheerleader and knew he could do anything! While our Friday nights will look a little different this fall, Jerry wayne will probably find time to make it to at least a game or two, but this time it will be as a fan! I love you babe, and remember……
