This is the closest I’ve gotten to a corn-allergen friendly edible lace. But still not close enough… back to the drawing board!

If you don’t have corn syrup on hand or need to make a corn-free recipe, you can make your own glucose syrup at home. This is a 2:1 ratio - 2 cups of sugar, 1 cup of water, and a little bit of lemon juice to help prevent crystallization.
