Oils do not moisturize your locs — they seal in moisture. 💧
If you put oil on dry locs without adding water or a water-based moisturizer first, you’re essentially sealing in that dryness.
For healthy, hydrated locs:
💦 Start with water or a water-based moisturizer
🌿 Then use a lightweight oil to seal in that moisture
✨ Don’t over-oil your locs — too much oil can cause buildup and attract lint/dirt.
Healthy locs need hydration first, oil second! 🤎
