Wrapping up a few things before my full time job starts again on Monday.

If you know me, you know I‘m already working in my classroom (read, I‘m typing this while at the copier in the teacher‘s workroom!) 🫣

I am always running from place to place in body and in my mind. It is just who I am 🤷🏻‍♀️ With that, this also means that I didn’t get any fancy pictures of the last few things I created.

However, I did snap a couple of things and I will share them here now. 🥰 I had so much fun designing and creating these. 🥰

Finally, as of this moment- my calendar is booked through Thanksgiving and nearly booked for Christmas. You are always welcome to message me and ask about a date and if I can, I will work you in.

The end of June and beginning of July looked like this when I wasn’t volunteering with the Band Booster Fireworks Stand 💜

But a special moment to recognize the hard work of my friend at Devils Den Apothecary. Tonight was another plant swap, but it was so much more! She invited vendors and had Kemp Avenue full of outstanding women in various booths. I enjoyed my time shopping and just being present. I even picked up a new plant, peep it in the last picture. He needs a name….whatcha think?

What a special place this is- and we call it home 💜

Summer is officially here friends!

This means my calendar is full and my heart is happy.

However, I was thinking… would anyone be interested in a flash sale of holiday sugar cookies for July 4th weekend?

I would open this to pre-pay and pick up at Willow & Company in Tishomingo.

Earlier this week, a super sweet customer asked me to make a cake for his wife. He didn’t give much turn around time and all he said was “she likes strawberry”.

Well, here’s what I was able to make; everything from scratch of course. 💜

Strawberry cake (2 layers), vanilla bean cake (single layer), vanilla Swiss meringue buttercream filling, strawberry compote, American buttercream, and a strawberry Swiss meringue buttercream.

The cake was so well received that there is hardly a crumb left! Full transparency- the cake is for my birthday 😉

What an absolute honor!

June 17, 2026 found my community celebrating and recognizing Murray State College at the official ribbon cutting ceremony of the newest mural at Murray on Main Tishomingo.

Murray on Main has previously partnered with me for a couple of events and each time my heart has been thankful and grateful. Plus, they always get THE best photos which include my work!

I feel it important to recognize the fact that as a full-time, public, educator of 18 years this dedication was more than paint on a wall. This work of art, beautifully developed and executed, represents the spirit of my hometown. The agricultural foundation of Johnston County, the people, the stories, and the investment toward a future of educated and thoughtful individuals is something with which I am overwhelming proud.

Thank you really seems to fall short in times such as this. Suffice it to say, this hometown girl couldn’t be more honored and proud to see the positive growth within this community.

Thank you- all of you- for the continued support of my dreams and this place I call home!

I turned around and realized- the last two weeks were busier than I thought!

My calendar is already quickly filling up for the fall AND winter 😳 If you have school events, senior night/homecoming/etc and are interested in me baking for you, please reach out ASAP before I’m at capacity.

Lately…

Everytime I think I am working to prep better so I can offer flash sales, the items are out my door before I can post.

What a situation to have- to be so busy is a real blessing!

The last couple of weeks was incredibly busy!

Thank you for the continued support friends. I love you more than words. 💜

Also, I need to address an issue that has increased over the last few months which if people are new to this page, they might not know.

First, I typically stay booked out about four months in advance. What a blessing that is to share! This also means I am not normally able to accept last minute orders. I am always happy to check my calendar for you though!

Additionally, to prevent waste of my time and product, I reserve the right for deposit or total payment at the time of your order. The internet is a wonderful way to share my love of baking but also opens the door to people that don’t always follow through. Ask me how I know…recently my family got to have a last minute 80s themed dessert party though 😉

Finally, I am not perfect. I am not the most outstanding baker for all your needs. However, what I can guarantee is I give all my love into the items I make. Always.
