This week our Cake for a Cause is to benefit the nonprofit established by Ellie Stone and her precious family! Ellie’s Mission will use the proceeds raised from this cake raffle to support another amazing local nonprofit in Tifton~Peanut Butter and Jesus! The cake we have for the raffle today is a strawberry cake with pink chocolate drizzle and topped with strawberry truffles.
The winner of the cake will be chosen tomorrow (February 10th) at 4:00 pm.

The idea of the Spaghetti Grilled Cheese was sent to me from a friend on FB…I kind of dismissed it for a little while. But one night when we made spaghetti at home, I decided to make one. It was AMAZING! Now every Wednesday we serve a Gourmet Spaghetti Grilled Cheese Sandwich! If you haven’t tried it, you should!
Let’s go fishing today! These little red and white fishing bobbers are always my favorite thing to make on a fishing themed cake! Did you know we make our fondant out of marshmallows and powdered sugar! 😍

Can you believe in the three years we have had Sweetie Pie and Simply Sweet Celebrations that I have been too scared to get behind the driver’s seat and drive Sweetie Pie to events?!?
Thursday night my wonderful hubby was out of town for work and that left me…I was beyond scared of how large she is and worried that I would take out others on our journey to Nashville to our event! But I knew I had to do it to prove to myself that I could.
I was pleasantly surprised at how easy it was to drive and not nearly as scary as I had built it up in my head! I am so proud of myself for overcoming a fear that held me back and limited my business opportunities because I had to rely on my husband to be available to schedule events.
Push yourself to do those things you are scared of doing. Usually they are not nearly as scary as you have made them out to be! I promise you, the satisfaction you gain from overcoming those barriers are worth it!
P.S. Thank you to my sweet employee Amanda Blake for riding along and helping with this event! She literally risked her life for the team! Haha! 🤣

Cake for A Cause-Drawing for this cake is Thursday January 27th at 4:00.
The cake: Cookie and cream cake like in the photo below. The cake will be chocolate on the inside with our delicious chocolate chip cookies crumbled between each layer.
The cause: We have partnered with Ruth’s Cottage and the Patticake House. They work to provide safety and comprehensive support to all victims of family violence and to promote activities that work toward the elimination of violence toward men, women, and children.

The money that we help raise for them this week with this delicious cake will be used to support special activities for the children in shelter, such as holidays and birthdays.

Our first CAKE for a CAUSE is a nonprofit organization called Steadfast Wildlife Rescue ran by Jessica Lynn Pisciotta. Jessica serves all of Georgia to rehabilitate wild animals and some domestic animals in emergency situations. She provides care for them until they are able to be released back in the wild or continues to provide care for them for life if they are unable to be rehabilitated.
$4 will give you a chance to win one of our most popular cakes…The Banana Pudding Cake while also providing half of the proceeds to this wonderful nonprofit that serves all of Georgia.
