If you’ve noticed things have been a little quieter around here lately, I wanted to pop on and share why. 💛

Life is incredibly full right now! Between running the bakery, being a wife and mom, and preparing for our upcoming Sweet Summer Night Market on the farm on June 27th, my days are packed from sunrise to sunset.
On top of that, for those who may not know, we’re in the final stages of becoming a surrogate. It’s a journey that involves a lot of appointments, testing, medications, and physical demands, and lately it’s been taking quite a bit out of me.

I appreciate your patience with messages, emails, and order inquiries. It’s truly just little ol’ me behind the scenes (with Eelke’s support, of course—though he doesn’t handle the social media side of things).

Thank you for continuing to support this little bakery through every season. Your orders, shares, kind words, and encouragement mean more than you know.

Now excuse me while I juggle cupcakes, market planning, and all the exciting things ahead! ✨I can’t wait to see everyone at our Sweet Summer Night Market on June 27th! It’s going to be such a fun evening on the farm, and we’re working hard to make it the best one yet.

Behind this bakery page is a real person trying to juggle all the hats — wife, mom, business owner, friend, farmhand, sports mom… and somewhere in there, still trying to have a little life too. We’ve been walking through some hard things at home lately with loss, stress, and family, and if I’m being honest, I’ve been struggling. But I wanted to take a moment to say thank you. Thank you for the support, the orders, the kind words, the patience, and the grace. It truly means more than you know.

What a weekend
I’m late posting because honestly I’m still unwinding from the best time! Thank you so much to everyone who came out to see me, grabbed treats, stopped to chat, shared posts, and supported my little bakery. Seeing familiar faces and meeting new ones is always my favorite part.

I have this week “off” but you know how that goes 😅 Full mom mode over here with sports, school, farm life, getting the garden going, keeping the house running, and all the everyday chaos. So maybe not exactly a vacation..

But truly, thank you for supporting this dream of mine. I appreciate every single one of you more than you know. ❤️
If you missed out on cupcakes this weekend, our next in-person opening (besides ordering through the website) will be the first Sunday in June! Come see me at the farm for cupcakes, cookies, cinnamon rolls, and sweet treats. I can’t wait to do it all again.

Thank you everybody for a great monthly opening. We had a great turnout and I appreciate everyone who came out and supported us! We are closed for the day thank you so much again and we will see you next month if you don’t wanna wait till then you can find me at country chicks next weekend!

Three years ago this week, we broke ground on our little silo shop. What started as a dream has turned into something so much bigger than I ever imagined. This space has brought me so much joy from our small business markets, to hosting classes, to our monthly openings it’s truly become a special place for our community.

I’m endlessly grateful to my uncle and my husband for helping bring this vision to life, and to every single one of you who has supported us along the way, whether by purchasing, sharing, or simply showing up. You made this possible.
