My goal as an artist/designer/baker is to make each dessert whether it is a cake, cupcake, cookie or specialty dessert not only amazingly beautiful, but with fresh, whole ingredients that make the taster say, "WOW". I will never compromise on my standards for a great product using great ingredients. We also make an entire line of Gluten Free, Sugar Free or Vegan fare using Stevia or Honey. 3-D Cak

This was a stretch for me.
"Minno" is a You tube program similar to " Veggie Tales".
Bible stories set to songs with cartoon characters. Check them out as they are fun for littles.
This 1/2 strawberry 1/2 chocolate tall cake has strawberry filling and light chocolate butter cream frosting to look like sand.David and Goliath are edible other than their skeleton armature. About 8" and 4" tall and 1/2 lb. !

I used to make one of these a week when I was baking for an artisan Cafe in Taylor for 5 years.

Think cheese cake w/o the cheese. Gluten free Dutch Chicolate Truffle cake with dark chocolate ganache and fresh fruit.
So decadent that 1 slice is almost too rich to eat.

TIPS & TRICKS #5:
I don't know how many of you need to know this but when whipping 9 eggs and a cup of sugar for making a sponge for German Black Forest cake, it needs to be whipped until quadruple in volume. Taking the whisk out and making an 8 on top of the eggs with the dripped "batter". If the 8 stays for 10 seconds without sinking, the consistency is perfect to seive the flour and cocoa into by gently folding.
In the meantime the dark cherries are marinating in Kirschwasser. (Don't substitute .)
Now to go make 400 chocolate curls...not my favorite. I asked for a better curler for Mothers Day. It doesn't arrive until tomorrow. Bummer. Cake is due today. Photos later.
