Five Twenty-Two Cookies

Hi, I’m Melissa—the hands, mixer, and mild chaos behind Five Twenty-Two Cookies.

I make custom cookies and cookie cakes for any event where showing up with dessert is basically the assignment.

Oh, BABY! 🎀

This baby girl set was all about the details. We spent time making sure every little piece was just right.

One thing I love about fully customized sets is figuring out which cookies get to be the stars of the show and which ones play supporting roles. The balance of colors, textures, and dimension is what makes the whole set come together.

And yes, I absolutely spent an unreasonable amount of time getting those tiny ruffles just right. 😂 I kid you not. 🫣

This is the part of cookie decorating I love most. Taking someone's vision and turning it into something that's completely their own. 💕

Proud to have made these cookies for a special military celebration! 🇺🇸 A simple, classic set honoring a meaningful occasion.

And of course, my military husband was looking over my shoulder to make sure I got every detail right. 🤪

Last month you all voted. Butter Pecan earned its spot. 🧈

The Monthly Drop is OPEN for preorders through October 15.

This month’s featured cookie is Butter Pecan — brown butter cookie packed with buttery, caramelized pecans. It joins the three OGs plus the 4-inch Mini Cookie Cake.

Choose your box. Pick your cookies. I’ll handle the butter situation. 😂

If you’ve tried an OG cookie, which one is your favorite?

Mickey Mouse (or “Keekee” 🥹) made an appearance for Dallas’s 2nd birthday last month! ❤️🖤💛

And because I love a good throwback, swipe to see his FIRST birthday cookies! Last year he was ONE Happy Dude, with a few special cookies for his sisters, too! 😉

One of my favorite things about repeat customers is getting to celebrate these milestones year after year.

Happy 2nd Birthday, Dallas! 🎉

One spunky monkey turned ONE. 🍌🐒

The tiny bananas might be my favorite part… they made the whole set feel extra playful and a little silly!

Which I’m guessing fits Beckett pretty well. 😂

I can’t recall who all voted for the Butter Pecan cookie … but thank you!

Oh my word! 😍 Brown butter makes all the difference!

(There were three cookies… 😋)

Coming soon!

It’s been a little quiet over here… because it’s been very loud behind the scenes. 😂

Between big orders, the start of the school year (did you know I’m an English teacher 🫣), playing with AI, and keeping up with two very busy, athletic boys, social media definitely got pushed to the bottom of the list.

But the cookies have not slowed down!

I’m currently booked through the end of 2026, and I’m incredibly grateful for every order that got me there.

Still here. Still baking. Just apparently terrible at documenting it. 😅

How do you fit all the things that make someone them onto one cookie?

Apparently, like this! 😍

Tre is celebrating turning 16, and I wanted these to feel like HIS cookies, not just another “16” birthday set.

So I tucked in little pieces of the things he enjoys throughout the dozen: basketball, boats, the beach, palm trees, sunshine, airplanes … all worked into one design. 💚

I love that no two are exactly alike, but together they tell a little bit about the birthday kid.

Happy 16th, Tre! 🎉

And if your person doesn’t fit neatly into one birthday “theme,” that’s completely fine. Send me their favorite things and let me figure out how to turn them into cookies. 😉
