Y’all, I just really like playin’ in the kitchen. 😆

I’m a sugar-cookie gal and never intended on even touching cinnamon rolls because, quite frankly… they scare me, lol
And honestly, I’m still intimidated. 😅

But I’ve been really inspired by some other local bakers in the area who do these things SO stinkin’ well. 💕

I’m definitely still learning because these little swirls take some practice! But Ben wanted apple pie cinnis, and I was determined to make that happen. 🥰

I’ll take it!

For now, I’m just over here having fun, learning something new, and apparently finding yet another way to get flour and powdered sugar all over my kitchen. 🤣🩷🍎

After cranking out a *mere* 200 cookies for a wedding order, I decided the appropriate way to reward myself was obviously…

Meet the newest member of the Sugar Fix family — Doughy Parton! 🥹💗

In my early 20’s I used to take cookies up to the restaurant I tended bar at and sell them for $1 each. I would *dream* of doing big 200-cookie wedding orders. And now I’m buying commercial-ish kitchen equipment!

I’m incredibly proud of how far this little cottage bakery has come

So here’s to bigger batches, more Sugar Fix, and seeing just how far this sweet little dream can go. 🥰🍪

Watching little customers grow up one birthday at a time is one of my favorite parts of this job. 💕🎤✨

Last year I was piping pink bows and Barbie silhouettes, and this year we’re trading the Dreamhouse for microphones, K-pop idols, and the cutest concert-worthy cookies! 💖💜💙

I love that I get to be a tiny part of these birthday traditions year after year. Seeing familiar names pop back onto my calendar makes my baker heart so happy. 🥹

Some things are more than just dessert... they’re part of a family’s story.

There is something so special about knowing this simple little heart cake held one of life’s sweetest surprises. The anticipation, happy tears, loud cheers, and then... 💙

Being trusted to create something that becomes part of such a meaningful memory is something I’ll never take for granted. Cookies, cakes, birthdays, weddings, or baby announcements, it’s such an honor to create something that becomes part of your heart. Swing by early though, cause these babies tend to disappear quicker than your motivation after one hot dog and some tater salad. 🌭😂

I started out making custom decorated sugar cookies… and somehow y’all decided these chocolate chip cookie cakes needed a permanent spot on the menu too.

But after the messages, orders, and people fighting over the last slice, we’re doing this now 💁🏻‍♀️
