Celebrating my husband, Todd’s, birthday tonight. Made his favorite, German chocolate cake with pecan coconut frosting. It’s hard to see but the top and the middle of each layer has the pecan frosting. He loves his bourbon so I thought this would be the perfect decorations. Happy Birthday Todd!

Birthday cake for my girl! She loves to read and is a Colleen Hoover fan so I thought this would be perfect for her. I usually try something new with her cakes! First time working with fondant. The edges of the covers for the book (on top) are fondant. The individual pages are made with wafer paper. Neither taste great but were small pieces that we removed before eating. She gets to pick the flavor but the decorating is always a surprise. She chose lemon cake with raspberry filling. Happy Birthday Nichole Blanke! I love you!
