CAKE TESTING / DINNER & TEA ๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ฅ
my seesterrrr, new brother and family all gathered to celebrate their loveeee. I have the honor of baking their wedding cake so i put tg a selection of cakes that i felt resembled them both ๐ฅฐ. Decor also by me. Iโm so happy everything turned out (even better) as i expected. Mind u, the cakes and everything in it are made from scratch and it was my first time making most of them. It was a lot of trial n error but everything came tg in the end!
- Marble Cake w/ raspberry ganache
- Black Forest cakeโฆ Cherry marmalade & almond whip cream swirl
- Persian Loveโฆ Rose n Pistachio cake w/ almond vanilla icing
- French Apple Spiceโฆ Apple spice cake w/ caramel apple filling
- Tuxedoโฆ Chocolate cake w/ Dutch chocolate mousse & strawberry mousse
- Berry Velvetโฆ red velvet w/ strawberry ganache
Persian Love was the most unique out of all the cakes & ended up being the winner ๐ฅฐ we tried the cakes all tg as a family n it couldnโt have been more special n fun. I had a strong feeling rena would like it bc her middle name is literally rose n it just made too much sense. Black Forest cake was runner up with its undeniably good flavor combo. The almond whip cream might b my fav thing Iโve ever made everrr. The marble cake was also almost chosen bc it seemed like the safest choice for many guests to enjoy. Iโm glad they went with the cake they found to b most special๐๐๐๐. & ik when they eat the cake on their wedding day they will remember how crazy we all sounded after tasting it for the first timeโฆ the flavors were nothing we ever tasted be4 ๐คฃ. If youve never tried it, just know it tastes like if a fancy perfume were a cake.
